Bells on the Bay Community Handbell Choir was formed in June, 2008, under the direction of Sally Klaasen. The group, comprised of musicians from the L'Anse/Baraga area, is open to all ages and is non-auditioned.

Ringers represent a wide range of ages, professions, and musical background, but all share in their desire to grow in fellowship and the art of handbell ringing.

Anyone with an interest in exploring handbell ringing is welcomed! The primary requests are that ringers have music-reading experience and are able to commit to the rehearsal schedule, which is Tuesdays, 6 to 7:30 p.m. There is a sign-up form on the About Us page.
